The Luohu Zero-Carbon Park is a renovated community park facing challenges in grid capacity expansion. By integrating photovoltaics, energy storage, and a direct-current flexible (DC flexible) system, we virtually addressed the capacity expansion issue. Given Luohu’s high population density and stringent safety requirements, maintenance-free solid-state lead batteries were deployed. This solution ensures safe, reliable, and stable operation for over a decade without virtual capacity expansion constraints.
