On May 29, the first "Eastern Data and Western Computing" Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Computing Industry Conference with the theme of "Computing Connects the World, Data Gathers in Shaoguan" was held in Shaoguan, Guangdong. The conference invited leaders of industry departments, academicians and scholars in related fields, industry experts, and senior executives of leading enterprises to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the development of my country's computing power and promote the implementation of the "Eastern Data and Western Computing" project. Hu Jiada, Chairman of Ritar International Group, was invited to attend and delivered a keynote speech entitled "OPzV Solid-State Lead Battery Opens a New Era of IDC Energy Storage for Eastern Data and Western Computing".
Chairman Hu Jiada said in his speech that with the development of the IDC industry, how to reduce costs in IDC operations has become the focus of many IDC service providers and customers. He believes that improving the utilization value of batteries and reducing or even avoiding sunk costs are one of the key points to reduce data center costs.
He said that reducing electricity costs, increasing other benefits (such as participating in peak and valley operations on the industrial and commercial side, peak and frequency regulation on the grid side, or shared energy storage leasing), and reducing PUE are the key ways for data centers to effectively reduce operating costs. Based on the above viewpoints, Hu Jiada believes that energy storage has great value in IDC. "First, through the energy storage system, the utilization rate of batteries can be improved and the sunk cost of batteries can be reduced; second, through the energy storage system, peak shaving and valley filling can be achieved to reduce electricity costs; third, through the energy storage system, demand-side response subsidies can be applied to further reduce electricity costs; fourth, the energy storage system uses OPzV solid-state lead batteries, which can reduce air conditioning by more than 60%, thereby reducing air conditioning energy consumption."

· Without changing the original IDC data center room power distribution structure design, adjust the space of the original power distribution system (design the space separately when building a new room) and cables to keep the load within the allowable range;
